An Anniversary Nearly Missed

No, I’m not talking about a wedding anniversary. I remember those. It’s September, ummm… well sometime in September.

But I almost missed the fact that today is the one-year anniversary of my first blog post. It kind of caught me off guard. It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long. Believe it or not, I used to dislike writing. Looking back at my first year of blogging, I’m amused by that fact. It’s a surprise to know that I could string that many sentences together. Some of ’em are even coherent. I’m thoroughly enjoying this.

Most of all, though, I’m grateful to everybody who has read and commented on my blog. I’m thankful to my professor who encouraged me to blog. I’m indebted to my fellow bloggers that encourage me to continue writing. Many of them are family, some I know from school, others I’ve only met online. You’ll find them on my blogroll. Check ’em out!

Here’s to the next 365 days!

Oh yeah, when it comes to forgetting my wedding anniversary, I’m just kidding. It’s Sept. 12th. I’ve got a wonderful wife! (And she lets me blog.)
