The Generous Friend

It’s amazing how much a friend’s simple gesture means. Today started off with a visit from a wonderfully generous friend. Alicia, a grad school classmate and wonderful blogger, stopped by to drop off a textbook she had borrowed for last semester.

She also brought two new ScareMeNots for the boys: Guardian Gus and Fearless Fred.

The boys are thrilled! I am very grateful to have such a wonderful friend. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to the day.

Thanks Alicia!

Tonight, Fred is hanging on the doorknob to the boys’ room. Gus is dangling from the bunk bed. They both join Knockout Ned who continues to serve on guard duty from the curtain rod in the room.

Thanks Alicia!

  1. Wade – I think YOU are the generous one! You saved me a lot of money by trusting me with your book. Your boys are so incredibly sweet – a real tribute to the love and guidance that you and your wife give.
